Montessori Learning Center School Policy: Suspension.
What justifies an in-school suspension?
Good and sufficient grounds for in-school suspension include, but are not limited to, behavior that adversely affects safety and well-being of others, disrupts a school activity, or is prejudicial to good order and discipline in school.
School Record:
School exclusions will likely go on your school record. All schools are legally required to keep records of their students for a certain period of time, and that includes a disciplinary track record.
Suspensions
* Being deliberately disobedient or disorderly,
* Being violent,
* Having a gun or dangerous weapon,
* Hurting or threatening to hurt someone with or without a weapon,
* Having drugs (possessing, selling, or giving them away), etc.
* Otherwise violating a school's code of conduct rules
[Expulsions can be anywhere between 1-5 days or longer depending on the incident.]
