Inspired by
Maria Montessori, one of the first female Doctors in Italy. Her methods, mixed with Classical and eclectic learning are the perfect mix for a well-rounded student.
At our Montessori/Classical learning Center, age does not determine grade level. We run very high standards, so we don't compare to public or other school systems.
Our School is a proud member of American Montessori Society

Practical Life Activities

Children are exposed to many practical life activities during our school hours. Washing, folding, cleaning, and much more!
They take these learning gems back home and appreciate what parents do for them and try to assist their siblings and caretakers.  They also learn to respect their environment and learning tools.

Order

Picture
One of the most important aspects of Montessori/Classical learning is Order.  In the classroom, we make sure students learn on their own and teachers guide the work in an orderly fashion.
Although children are free to choose from any of the work areas, it has to be done properly.  Only one item can be used at a time and when finished, it has to be put back into the area where it was first taken from.

Some of the subjects we teach:
English, Cursive and Print, Geography, History, Mathematics, Music, Reading, Poetry Memorization, Reading the Classics, Story Time, "Beautiful-Quiet-Reading-time", Songs, Exercise (stretches, walking, jogging, running, tumbling), Meditation, Free Montessori play, Nature Studies, Finance, Space exploration, Instruments, Cultural studies, Home Economics, Art, and Artistic play.
ADDED: Nutrition and Culinary Arts!

***Will be Training for the FONTANA 5K race 2023***

Botany

Children are constantly exposed to plants and nature at our school.
They have a yard full of plants, trees, flowers and compost areas to investigate. With the use of magnifying glasses and tin cans to water the plants, they feel ready to explore where food, remedies, and essential oils comes from.
They also learn how a seed grows, how trees develop, how to recognize weeds and how some weeds are beneficial and much more!
